Barcelona

We're in lovely Barcelona! We had a lovely (albeit rushed) breakfast at Pratik bakery with Kateri and Tom - and then headed to one of our must-do's each Europe trip - the Sagrada Famila Basilica!

Now slated to be completed in 2026, every time we visit the Sagrada is such a moving and beautiful experience. I already can't wait to see its progression again next time.

See front towers/spires...(in the middle, there will be gigantic towers - see model below)

(See front towers/spires in this design/model of the Sagrada

The beginning of the Sagrada construction.  (Get a sense of the scale of this building - it is huge!)

View from the tower (passion side)

The nautilus is for Sara...and us.  View: looking up many winding steps to the passion tower

Kristi's photo looking down to Jane - the center is a ginormous abyss down the tower stairs

The passion facade

The light on the stained glass...wow!!

Gothic Quarter with Kateri  (who looks a lot like Sara in this photo!)

...with much anticipated pitcher of Sangria :).
