(Camino de Santiago) Viscarrete to Larasoana

We're in Larasoana! The hike was only hot toward the afternoon- exactly 2 p.m., but otherwise, today was a really nice day in the ridge forest from Arre summit and down to Zubiri.  Only 4 miles from there over to Larasoana. We covered 10-11 miles today - there's discrepancy with devices, guidebooks and local knowledge on exact # of miles.  We weren't lolly-gagging so much today. lefts Viscarrete at 8 and into Larasoana by 2:30 - taking breaks including an extended lunch in Zubiri. Met some really interesting people today - Buen Camino!
The climb out of Viscarrete (tough, concrete, steep, east-facing. Nice to have this done first thing.)

Siblings from Ireland (all in their 70s). Also a couple from Wales who invited us to visit. I love the spirit and support on the Camino.
