We arrived in Zurich at 8 a.m. after a long flight across the ocean. Sara picked us up at the airport (Yay to see Sara!), and we went back to her place, and then out to breakfast. That's about the time we became essentially zombies: conscious, but not really. Jet lag hit hard. But we persevered through a couple more hours of walking around this gorgeous city, before returning to Sara's apartment for a long afternoon nap. Those two hours of sleep made a huge difference, and we went off for the evening, walking along Lake Zurich and eating dinner at a lake-side restaurant. Great first day! So glad to be in Europe!
