Cinque Terre

Gorgeous gorgeous Cinque Terra - our last stop on this trip before training to Zurich and back home (so sad!)...but SO beautiful!

Manarola

Train stop at Manarola

View from the train (although mostly the ride is in tunnels)

First night dinner at Belforte in Vernazza

Vernazza

Cinque Terra wine :)

Hiking on vista trail through vineyards.

Door to...?

The park has several tiered trails. This one from Manarola to Volastra (straight up!)

Sunset at Manarola cliff diving/swimming area.

View from the upper train from Volastra to Corniglia (wowwww)

We noticed the trail had a Camino or Via marking - this is a linked trail from the Camino de Santiago in France to Via Fracigena in Italy (to Rome).  Alright!!

Train tracks below and Corniglia down by the sea

Corniglia

Vertical terraced vineyards (they use a metal rail to move vineyard carts)

The upper trail

Corniglia town - a 4 hour hike there, 1 minute train back :)

Manarola - view from our hotel <3

Down at the cliff diving area at Manarola

Looking up at the middle tier trail out of Manarola

Iglecia at Manarola (with a row of viejas in the shade)

View from Billy's Trattoria (about 50 meters from the hotel)

Jane pointing where the grapes were harvested for the local wine we're drinking

Bella sorela!

View from Billy's

Working in the afternoon.  Check...out...the...view!

I must have taken 300 photos of this view alone.

We really didn't want to leave!  We'll be back again soon, Italy!
