An amazing day... A speed train to Arth-Goldau stop, cog rail ride and picnic at the top of Mt. Rigi - with views of 3 surrounding lakes, a beautiful hike down a mountain trail to soak at lovely Kaltbad hot spring spa. Then, a super steep gondola ride to adorable Weggis ("Vegas") town - which had vineyards too. A charming wine dinner on the lake with views of the snow-covered alps, a miracle rescue of a lost wallet (including the restaurant owner dropping everything to drive up to the cog rail office), and a boat to Lucerne to catch the train back to Zurich. A really...really great day.
